Emily earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. Born and raised in the Berkshires, she moved back to the area in 2017 to open her own practice after living in Boston for nine years. While in law school, Emily represented indigent clients in matters relating to housing, family, and immigration. Additionally, she worked for the Legal Counsel's Office of Governor Deval Patrick's Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development (EOHED). After being admitted to the Bar, Emily worked as an associate attorney at a busy civil litigation firm near Boston.
Since moving back, Emily opened her own law practice in Great Barrington with a focus exclusively on residential real estate transactions. To this end, she is an approved attorney with Chicago Title Insurance Company and a member of the Real Estate Bar Association (REBA). She is admitted to practice law in both Massachusetts and New York.
Active in the community, Emily is on the Board of Directors for the Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce and for Berkshire Village, the real estate arm of Stanton Home.
Outside of the office, Emily is a beekeeper with her husband, Saša, whom she met while attending Berkshire School in Sheffield, MA. Saša and Emily currently live in New Marlborough with their two year old son, Niko.
