When selling property, you typically have one goal: close on time and without any problems. It is my job to help you avoid unnecessary frustrations along the way, while ensuring that the sale reaches a successful conclusion and your interests are protected at all times. 
As your real estate attorney, I will take the time to learn the specific details of your transaction, so I am able to tailor my services to meet your specific needs. I will make sure that you fully understand each step of the process, are aware of any obstacles you may face, and are as prepared as possible to close your sale. Most importantly, I make myself readily available to address all of your questions and concerns as they arise - no matter the time of day - by providing all clients with my personal cell phone number. Whether its noon on a Wednesday or 7:00pm on a Sunday, you will be able to get ahold of me. Having an attorney that is easy to get in touch with can eliminate much of the unnecessary stress that comes with selling your home. 
Depending on where you are in the process, my representation of you as a seller will include the following services: 
  • Reviewing offers to purchase;

  • Reviewing the purchase and sale agreement with you to make sure that it properly reflects your agreement with the buyer, that it addresses all of your concerns, and that you understand all of its provisions;

  • If necessary, negotiating revisions to the agreement with the buyer’s representative;

  • Consulting with you as to the terms and particulars of the transaction;

  • Communicating with brokers, attorneys and/or the buyer;

  • Reviewing the buyer’s title report with you, and helping resolve any issues;

  • Calculating adjustments;

  • Drafting the new deed and power of attorney;

  • Reviewing and clearly explaining all closing documents with you; 

  • Attending the closing with you and supervising the sale; or if you choose not to attend the closing, attending the closing on your behalf under a power of attorney.
